Bro. Joseph McKinney is lifelong member of CLJC and a native Memphian. Bro. Joseph currently serves as President of Young People’s Department in Memphis and is active in the Men’s Department. Bro. Joseph attended Rhodes College where he earned a B.A. in Business Administration. Subsequently he, attended the University of Memphis Law School, where he earned his juris doctorate, won several inter-school, regional and national competitions and awards and met his beautiful wife LaChina. After law school, Bro. Joseph moved to Nashville, TN where he worked for six years as a litigation associate at Dickinson Wright PLLC, focusing on employment, business and governmental tort liability litigation.
In 2017, Bro. Joseph returned to Memphis to begin working for American Lebanese Syrian Associated Charities (ALSAC), the fundraising and awareness organization for St. Jude Research Children’s Hospital. As a member of the in-house counsel team, Bro. Joseph works on a variety of legal matters including employment and employee relations, compliance, immigration, regulatory affairs, contracts and estate matters.
When he is not working, Bro. Joseph loves spending time with his wife, LaChina, his daughters Kion and Karsten, and all of their families in Memphis.
